Born on Cinco de Mayo (May 5), 2022, Sky the result of a stunning cross between our Legacys Renoir+ daughter, AMF Impressionista (“Neesa”), and Darqq, a purebred, homozygous black, sabino Arabian stallion. Darqq’s W19 gene stamps many of his foals with unique white swirl patterns and other attractive white marking. Sky is no different. Can we say “chrome!”
Sky is a stunner — tall, elegant, lovely, upright, ground-covering mover. He is a very sweet boy, who works at trying to please. We are very pleased with the result of this cross. Sky will attract a Sport Horse/Dressage judge’s eye and be a crowd-pleaser for his entire life. He’s a wonderful ambassador for the Arabian breed, as well.
Sky is in regular manners training. He is easy to catch, he leads, stands, likes to be brushed, and has been exposed to the clippers and fly spray. He is quiet for farrier trims, and daily hoof cleaning. In the coming weeks, Sky will learn to load and unload.
Soon, he will be gelded, and ready for his new home. Sky is fully vaccinated (6-way & rabies), and has his first Coggins issued. He has already been dewormed.
