Born on May 15, this colt was the last and possibly the sweetest of our 2022 foals. AMF Pegasus Dancer (“Danny”) is the result of a marvelous cross with our black-bay, Arabian, 2012, IXL Noble Express+ daughter, Fringe, and America’s favorite few spot Knabstrupper Warmblood stallion, Pax Asgard af Pegasus, at Murder Hollow Farm in Spring Valley, Pennsylvania.
Danny is a sweet soul. He’s our first ever Warmblood Arabian cross. His patterned coat markings are a plus. He’s a very smart little guy, but he definitely has a mind of his own. There’s a lot of coaxing and negotiating with this one, which is why we start handling from day one and never miss an opportunity to introduce something new and give heaps of praise.
Danny has finally grown to balance his long stilt-like legs. He’s very sturdy and certainly drives from behind. Of the three 2022 colts, he’s my gate ambassador – always curious and ready for whatever love is being handed out. We just love this Knabstrupper cross.
Danny is in regular manners training. He is easy to catch, he leads, stands, likes to be brushed, and has been exposed to the clippers and fly spray. He is quiet for farrier trims, and daily hoof cleaning. In the coming weeks, Danny will learn to load and unload.
Soon, he will be gelded, and ready for his new home. Danny is fully vaccinated (6-way & rabies), and has his first Coggins issued. He has already been dewormed.
